CrossBreed Supertuck Review
After
wearing the infamous supertuck for a couple of weeks
I thought I'd do a brief review of my findings on
this odd looking piece of gear.
Initially it was, as I mentioned, odd looking.
The design seems very simple and doesn't at first
seem impressive. I tried it on immediately,
tucked in my shirt and did a couple trips up and
down the stairs while doing laundry. Wow,
right out of the box you can hardly tell you are
wearing it. Good retention, comfortable fit,
very easy to like this design.
It only
took a couple of days worth of wear for the leather
to loosen up and at this point I decided to refine
the holster a bit. Using a belt and laying the
holster over my thigh to replicate body bend I went
for a more forward tilt. I moved the forward
clip up one notch. I also replaced the rear
clip with CrossBreed's v-clip and the forward with
their j-clip (as the velcro on the inside of my belt
doesn't go that far forward). It now has a
great forward cant and low ride height.
Below
you can see that even with my 4" Springfield XD
.45acp compact conceals well even with the EXTENDED
13 round magazines. There are a couple of
photos next to an ammo box to show how large this
firearms is.
If we
are going to carry a firearm, shouldn't we be as
comfortable as possible carrying the firearms we
choose. I highly recommend this holster for
concealed carry. Mark as CrossBreed is easy to
deal with and offers delivery times far shorter than
those of many of the competitors.
